Wear it, or put your pint on it.
Beer mats, hats, socks, a tote with a record player on it, and jumpers that say The Snug in letters big enough to start a conversation you did not want. Twenty per cent of every sale goes to Music Venue Trust, taken off the top before any costs come out.
Real products, at the prices we charge.

Where the twenty per cent goes
To Music Venue Trust — not a campaign and not a trade body, but a charity with a number you can look up, because “a fifth goes to charity” is a sentence that has to survive being checked. Most of the venues it works to keep open are pubs with a stage in the corner.
- ·20% of everything the shop sells, and 10% of every £25 Founder membership, goes to Music Venue Trust, registered charity 1159846 — taken off the top, before any costs come out. Nothing comes out of the £2.50 Member subscription or the £3.50 Musician one.
- ·Every product card shows its own figure, worked out from that product's price.
There is a written agreement in place with Music Venue Trust, registered charity 1159846. That is what lets this page put a name beside a percentage: 20% of what the shop takes goes to them, off the top, before printing, postage or anything else comes out. The products and prices are real and come from our own shop; buying is not switched on yet, so the basket adds up rather than taking money.
- £1,000
- a fifth of the biggest grant that fund makes
- £5,000
- the biggest single grant it makes to one venue
- £10,000
- two of them
For scale, not a promise: Music Venue Trust’s Pipeline Investment Fund gives venues up to £5,000 at a time for lights, sound, access and ventilation — just over £282,000 across 67 venues so far. We don’t get to choose where our share goes once it is theirs, and we would not want to.
Demo basket only — nothing is charged, and it resets the moment you refresh.
20% of the price of this order goes to Music Venue Trust, registered charity 1159846, under a written agreement with them. It is taken off the top, before any of our costs come out.
The lot
Fourteen things, in four colourways. Nothing here is a limited edition, because we are not doing that either.
Holds about twelve LPs, which is eleven more than you told them you were buying.
For walking to the pub in February. Bobble included. Dignity sold separately.
Absorbent, argumentative, and the only merchandise here that does an actual job.
Heavy cotton, The Snug across the chest. Survives a spilled pint and a bad opinion.
Made for the person pulling the pints. Bought, mostly, by people who are not.
For the four days a year this country requires one.
Under the record, where nobody looks. Which is exactly the point of a slipmat.
For the morning after the vinyl night, when the room is very quiet.
The nicest thing anyone has ever hung on a cooker handle and then never used.
Orange at the top, black everywhere else. Nobody will see them. You will know.
Cut like a seven-inch. Does one thing and does it without being asked twice.
For the denim jacket you keep saying you will finish.
Small enough for a work lanyard. Nobody has ever asked what it means.
Things to wear at people
Same shirt, same price, different opinion across the chest. Half of these are jokes from elsewhere on this site, which is either satisfying or unbearable depending on how long you have been here.
The rules of every vinyl night, on cotton.
A filter on this site. Also a way of life.
You were going to say it anyway. Save your breath.
It usually was, to be fair.
Nobody will. Wear it regardless.
Somebody has to, and it will not be the council.
Quiz night, distilled.
For the person on the decks. A kindness, really.
Where the money goes
The honest bit
The twenty per cent is fixed and comes off the top. Everything after it is an estimate until there are real invoices to look at, and the moment there are, this page gets the real numbers instead.
This page is not a charity and does not claim to be one. It is a shop that gives a fifth of what it takes to Music Venue Trust.
