What a pub pays.
Every landlord asks this second, straight after “what is it?”. No commission, no per-event fee, and nothing comes out of your till.
Free for the first 100 independents. If you are a free house, an independent or community-owned, the first 100 of you pay nothing at all. After that it is £5 once — not a year, not a month, once — and never anything again. There is nothing monthly and nothing per event either way. Pub-company houses are the exception, and there are only 100 places.
Independent, free house, community-owned£0 then £5 once
Nothing monthly, nothing annual, nothing per event. The one-off is the only thing you are ever asked for.
100 places
Pub-company houses£10 once, then £2/month
Chains have marketing departments; independents have you. We are taking 100 of them and no more.

What that gets you
Your pub's own page — beers, prices, opening times, what's on, photos, the room as it actually is.
A pin on every map on the site, coloured by what you run.
The admin app for you and your staff: diary, inbox, parcels, promotions.
Vinyl night, run for you — open a night, members book the decks, the room scores it on their phones. Or on paper, if the signal is rubbish.
Bands who want to play, searchable by town, fee and what they sound like. You talk to them directly.
A straight answer on music licensing — what a vinyl night does and doesn’t change, with the sums, at thesnug-club.co.uk/music-licence
Quizzes, karaoke, trade days, life drawing — tick what you run and you appear in those filters.
A pint on us, poured by you — every member gets one joining pint, at a pub they pick. You choose the drink; we pay you £5.
Parcels behind the bar, if you want them: members collect merch from you, and you keep 50p a parcel.
Printed bits, free to print yourself — ballots, a tally sheet, the scoring ladder. Or ask us about a printed box.
What we don't take
No commission on anything sold in your pub. No fee per event, per booking, or per member through the door. No exclusivity — run the same night with somebody else if you like. No contract and no notice period: tell us and you're off it.
Money going the other way20% of everything the shop takes goes to Music Venue Trust, registered charity 1159846, taken off the top. Money from our side of the table to yours, and the part we would most like to be held to.
